Kailyn Poindexter, R.V.T, Owner, Trainer
Kailyn has been a part of the pet industry for 14 years, developing a deep passion for animals even before that from a very young age. She got her start working on a ranch with horses, dogs and chickens. Moving on in high school she went to work at a local kennel and spent a lot of time hanging out with the pooches on her breaks.
At the age of 17 she got a job at a veterinary hospital and stayed in veterinary medicine for many years, earning her license as a registered veterinary technician. As the two worlds of medicine and training blended she developed a love for training and enhancing the bond between a family and their trusty companions.
Bugs, C.E.O.
Bugs, born in Monterey Bay in 2009, has long been by Kailyn’s side. She greets everyone with a “woof” and a tail wag and can turn even the grumpiest of frowns into a smile. You can often find her searching the premises for any scraps, looking out the window in search of squirrels or taking a nice long nap in the sun. Bugs is just the best girl, and all she really needs is some snuggles, love and a few treats.
